I attended my first outdoor book fair yesterday! This meant I had to, once again, figure out my layout and signage 🤣 I also had to get a tent and some tables!
My living room, with its massive couch, was too small to plan my layout in, so I had to overrun my kitchen/dining room. Even that wasn’t big enough 😂

Luckily, my backyard was big enough for the tent, though 😅

I was super excited to be able to use my new alphabot standees 😍
The tent was really working for my social anxiety! I was more comfortable during this event than any other–probably b/c I’m like a cat and cats like boxes 🤷♀️ Still suck at posing for pictures, though.

As you can see, my tent was on top of gravel. So, all of my stuff is now covered in a thin layer of gravel dust, and I’m coughing up a bunch of gunk today 😭
Despite the gunky lungs and really long day, I had a blast! I sold a lot of books, met a bunch of awesome readers, and chatted up some authors. Overall, it was an excellent day.
